Ivrnet has landed another national client for its NexText product. Tim Hortons has signed on to use the software advertising platform that allows advertisers and marketers to connect directly with transit riders through 100 character text ads while in transit.
On May 1st 2017, Tim Hortons will launch it’s “Perfect Latte” campaign on NexText in both Metro Vancouver and Calgary, delivering hundreds of thousands of ads and coupons across Metro Vancouver Translink and Calgary Transit routes.
Tim Hortons is the second national brand to embrace Ivrnet’s NexText for its regional marketing campaigns. Earlier this year, Subway began implementing marketing campaigns in Calgary.
NexText ads provide transit riders with special offers, discount coupons, application downloads and the option of connecting directly to an advertiser’s website. When a transit rider requests and receives information about their transit stop via a text message, they also receive a NexText ad that is relevant to their transit destination. NexText currently operates in Calgary and Vancouver.
NexText creates revenue for transit authorities by using text advertising that geographically targets transit riders.
